lol, the madness is eveywhere! I dread the smoke alarm going off when I'm cooking and hubby's away, even on a chair I can't reach it as our ceilings are so high. I resort to throwing things...

lol, that made me laugh. We have a similar heat/smoke sensing fire detector that goes mental when you walk out of the bathroom when you've had a shower, even long after you've shut the door and opened the windows etc. I even left it one morning doing the 'beep' 20 seconds 'beep' for my mum to sort out as I'd lost patience. Poor mum on her day off!

We lost our Wollies in the 70's and Downtown hasnt been the same. And truth betold that is another reason christmas isnt christmas downtown no more. Everyone heads to Wally World or to the malls. How I miss christmas downtown.

I've gone the other way I'm afraid - on both counts - turned into a bit of a manic blogger. I resolved to post every day this year, and I have, barring when I've been away and not had access to a computer.
I've been going back and reading my early posts recently. I think you're the only one of my original blog friends who is still around in any form!

I've been around but I don't seem to have enough time to linger, I've only posted 12 times this year, time just races away. I've had an good year in so many ways, busy but happy to be and done a lot of jolly stuff. Contented with my lot I think!

A very wise solution. I do that with my regular handbag which is made of fabric (by me, to my own exclusive design) and I have this obsession about the phone getting wet!

It has a plastic bag inside in case it rains and soaks my yoga pants :)) (can't have the plackie bag on the outside!) *snrk*
